January-February, 2012

Available now, shown in the two images immediately below is a very nice 10'-0" classic with nine hardwood stringers and single glass-on hardwood fin with a clear glass bead. This solid balsa wood surfboard has been fiberglassed using 'S' cloth, which features a subtle hint of weave pattern for that 1960's look. All surfboards include a handmade fitted wall hanging fixture for formal display. Packaging and shipping can be arranged.

Call or email for further information.

Other work in progess

I'm finishing up templates for one nine foot and one ten foot Malibu Chip surfboard. As soon as I get the blanks glued up and shaped I'll post some photos. Likely completion and availablility is late summer 2012.

I'm always available to discuss a shape and design you may have in mind for a wood surfboard, so call me directly or email any time.

Historically correct shapes and designs, time-consuming and detailed perfection in fine woodworking is what I build. All work is done in a small shop dedicated exclusively to building vintage and classic surfboards, contemporary big wave guns and half scale model surfboards.

                Something new and different:

half-scale model surfboards for those wanting to decorate with a collection of classic and vintage surfboards but just don't have the space. Solid balsa wood with mahogany stringers and single hardwood fin. Fiberglassed, gloss coated and polished to perfection like the real thing, only half the size. Complete with a fitted hand made wall hanging fixture.
