Presently, only two surfboards are available. Both are 10-foot solid balsa wood 1960's classics with numerous stringers with a glassed-on wood fin.

A custom fitted wall hanging fixture for formal display is included.

Call or email for additional information and pricing.

One surfboard is displayed and available for sale at Basham Surfboard Factory Sales 213 Los Molinos in San Clemente (949) 361-2203. This is the factory showroom located in the heart of San Clemente's industrial area. Not much curb appeal and there's no carpet, but you are welcome here. Just surfers making surfboards when there aren't any waves.

Hours are 12 noon to 6 pm daily, Saturdays noon to 3pm. Sundays-forget it.

This is also a 10-foot 1960's balsa wood classic with eighteen mahogany stringers and mahogany tail block & fin. Wall hanging fixture also included.

In the meantime, navigate through the Gallery section to see more work. When surfboards become available, or at least nearing completion, photos and descriptions will be posted.

WORK IN PROGRESS

Presently building several contemporary big-wave guns and 1960's classics in the 9' to 10' length range. Completion and availability is anyone's guess as a complete restoration project is underway on my 56 Chevy stationwagon that will take several months to complete. This is my best excuse yet for not getting much done lately, but at least it's the truth.

Call or email your inquiries or request a current price list by clicking here. I always reply and return all phone calls.

Thanks for visiting,

Historically correct shapes and designs, time-consuming and detailed perfection in fine woodworking is what I build. All work is done in a very small shop dedicated exclusively to building vintage and classic surfboards, and contemporary big wave surfboards too.
